Love and serious relationship no longer seems necessary ingredients before the beginning of someone involved more deeply with others. A survey shows that sexual relations without the frills of romance and love or casual sex is increasingly popular, at least in the United States.
Based on the study conducted by researchers from the University of Iowa College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, those who engage in casual sex relationships the country, Uncle Sam tends to often have multiple sexual partners. "The United States has shown a great change to have sex without love. People can get involved sexually when only regular dating or not dating at all," said Anthony Paik, author of the study is also a sociologist.
In a survey of 783 adults aged 18-60 years regarding sexual involvement with others outside the relationship was revealed, 17 percent of men and 5 percent of women admitted to having sex with people who are not spouses.
Interestingly, female respondents more easily attracted to people who are already familiar. As many as 44 percent of women said that their loyalty could be shaken if they involved sex with her friend, while 43 percent prefer a foreigner as a casual sex partner.
Nevertheless, the majority of respondents said they made friends with other couples who are married and grow a sense of loyalty to their husbands or their wives. Respondents who lived with their parents tend not to keep changing sexual partners. This likely happened because they did not want to risk the relationship and consider the impact on families.
